Here are two tracks from my CD PETER FRENCH SINGS HARRY NILSSON’S “A LITTLE TOUCH OF SCHMILSSON IN THE NIGHT”. You may hear some unusual lyrics you have not heard before in “It Had To Be You”. They were written by Gus Kahn for the original album “A Little Touch Of Schmilsson In The Night” by Harry Nilsson.
My Musical Director, Michael Haslam, has transcribed all its original orchestrations for piano. Since I am covering that album, I wanted to stay true to Harry’s take on these classics and so, I chose to keep the altered lyrics. Michael is accompanying me. (I would recommend listening to the track through headphones).
